Treyarch Highlights Changes Coming to Black Ops 4 After Beta

3.5
On Monday, Treyarch officially ended the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta, and while you may disagree on whether or not it was fun, there is no denying that the developer has done a good job listening to the community, and implementing changes throughout both weekends. Now, Treyarch has gone a step further, as they have revealed some of the changes that they’ll be making to the full release of the game thanks to the beta.

For starters, Fog of War is set to be nerfed, at least slightly. While all players will still be able to see enemies in front of them when they appear, you’ll now need to set the Team Link perk if you want to see enemies behind you.

In addition to that, after a ton of complaints about spawn killing, the developer has made changes to the Tac-Deploy equipment. Players will now be told in the kill-cam whether or not an enemy is in the vicinity.

Body Armor will also see some changes, as it’ll now be more susceptible to explosives and it will now slightly reduce damage on every shot, rather than simply protect against one singular bullet from any gun. Those who kill others that are using body armor will now be awarded 25 extra points.

Finally, a couple of miscellaneous, still important, features will also be tweaked: players will now have the ability to choose between the standard cursor and d-pad controls when navigating the menus and loadouts will now appear in kill-cams.

In other Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 news, a few days ago Treyarch announced the start date for the Blackout beta, the game’s highly anticipated Battle Royale mode.

Yes, because this update was supposed to make the game look so much better.

Still doesn't compare with BO2 but personally i think I'll enjoy it for a short amount of time, really want to give it another chance this year but I've always been let down. Treyarch have always been my favourite I just really hope it stays enjoyable for longer than a month :)

No huge changes here, all seem pretty minimum and normal for cod games after betas.
