But that’s not all that’s changing with this iteration. Bungie has announced on Twitter that a Crucible map called Convergence will be added when Iron Banner goes live. The map seems to be a reprised version of Pantheon, a classic Destiny 1 map that arrived with The Dark Below DLC. We’ll have to wait and see it drop before knowing the changes made.
Iron Banner will run for an entire week, starting from September 18th to 25th. Lord Saladin will offer seven weekly bounties to complete, each providing an event-themed reward. However, two bounties in particular grant “powerful rewards” which could be weapons or armour. Saladin will also have armour and weapons that can be purchased when their associated bounties are complete.
