All these titles are already available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (and PS3, and Xbox 360, and Wii, and GameCube, and just about every other system ever made, to be honest), but this marks the first time they are meaningfully available portably, so I’m sure there will be many who will be more than happy to spend money on them for the umpteenth time. That, plus Resident Evil 4 is arguably one of the best games ever made, so that probably means a lot of people are more than happy buying it as many times as they can, too.
Not many other details are currently available—no pricing, no specific release order, no release date, nor even an announcement of whether the games will be available digitally, or at retail as well. Or, most significantly, if the Resident Evil release is for the remake or the original. Capcom does promise more information coming soon, however, so I guess we just hold tight.
If you’re not on Switch, and want some Resident Evil action for yourself, do make sure to check out the latest gameplay video for Resident Evil 2, which launches next year for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Capcom is bringing multiple fan favorites to Nintendo Switch! Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 will each be launching on Nintendo Switch in 2019! We'll have more info soon!
