Call of Duty Developer Infinity Ward Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat

Earlier today, the developer of next year’s Call of Duty title, and series’ creator, Infinity Ward, was evacuated after someone threatened to bomb the Woodland Hills, California-based studio through an email.

While details are scarce about the threat, Kotaku is reporting that the threat demanded a $20,000 ransom in the form of bitcoins. According to the report, police told employees to evacuate the building, which they did without a problem.

Infinity Ward currently in the middle of development of 2019’s Call of Duty title, which is rumored to be Modern Warfare 4, although this is not confirmed in any way. Previously, the studio worked on the other entries in the Modern Warfare series, as well as Ghosts and Infinite Warfare.

As of the time of this writing, it’s unknown what, exactly, the status of the studio is, while Activision, the parent company and publisher for the studio, has yet to comment on the matter.

respawn did the best cods iw now makes the worst cods take a look at the remastered cod 4 ravin did now take a look at iw(trash warfare with super human jumping) ravin did better then current iw, we need robert aka fourdeltaone i believe, then iw would be back to the best cods, but respawn took the good ideas and made titanfall2 which could of gone to cod imo, but yeah i hope everyones ok even if this is just a stupid joke


I will agree Ghosts and IW were pretty bad but that doesnt speak on them as a whole. MWR was a great game and did very well it just died down like most CODs do and will. None the less MW2 and MW3 were phenomenal games and I expect nothing short with their upcoming game. Treyarchs game die down as well look at BO1 and BO2 games are bottom of the barrel now and I dont even want to begin to speak on WW2 they should be ashamed.


You both do know the infinity ward team responsible for making those games is long gone right? Lol

This has been happening ALL over the country. Nothing special about Infinity Ward. These attacks are targeting high dollar companies in hopes of one of them caving in. They are coming from Russia.
