Now you can get yourself down to the shire and mingle with some hobbitses lego-style as the Humble Store are giving away free copies of the Tolkien classic, Lego: Lord of the Rings. It seems that the digital haven for video games has gotten into a very generous festive mood lately as it was only last week they were giving away copies of Lego: The Hobbit for folk who signed up to the Humble newsletter.
Of course, you don’t get something for nothing these days, so you will have to sign up to the mailing list to receive your free game, but that’s not really a huge ask, is it? If you are already on the list then I guess in this instance, you get Lego: Lord of the Rings without having to lift a finger – well, other than hitting the “get the game” button.
Word of warning though – If you do want your copy, get on it fast as Humble has said that this offer will apply while stocks last. This is probably due to supply and demand given that its a free game and folk love free stuff. You’ll have until 10 am PT/1 pm ET on December 22 ( that’s tomorrow) to bag yourself some Hobbit-action or unfortunately, until they run out of copies to give.
