Another rumor claims new Xbox at E3 2012

Numerous “reports” have pinned Microsoft revealing a new Xbox at E3 next year already. As if those rumors weren’t enough, here comes another one which, at the end of the day, is revealing about as much as a bikini model in the middle of a snowstorm.

According to a source “knowledge of Microsoft’s plans,” Microsoft is supposedly prepping its next-generation console — and has been doing so since 2006, apparently — for an E3 2012 debut. Whether or not the console will actually launch next year is another matter entirely given that the same source is “not aware” of such plans.

We’re not sure rumors like these do any good, especially since Microsoft has already implied that the Xbox 360 has, still, a long and good life ahead of it.

Hmm, I doubt this simply, because they just released Kinect last year? Why would they already show off a brand new console so soon? Unless they show it off in 2012 then release it in 2013 or 2014. OR they make Kinect compatible with this new system? I'd like that! If they make a new console, it needs Blu-Ray, Wireless built in, Backwards Compatibly with Xbox 360 games, and anything else I think of in the next year. :)

-CameronUK- I hope they bring blu-ray to the xbox. HD is good but people have 3D TV's for god's sake! Blu-ray is one of the only features I like about the Playstation 3! It will be great news if they do becasue, lets be honest, the SLIM is crap, all they have done is put touch stuff on it, which is annoying when you're trying to play late at night and all you can hear is "BLING", a new USB port, bigger HDD and integrated wireless card.

Nah, Microsoft will bring in the next generation Green Ray! Its gonna be sick lol

whats the point though since it just takes a lot longer it will be slower then quick 1-2 minutes on the computer its done xbox 5 minutes might of found it

Please, Nobody buys a game for the "good graphics" anymore, Do you go out and buy a game because of its graphics? NO you dont, You buy a gane because of its good storyline or multiplayer action, The xbox 360 is fine but getting old, We need something new, Something that has a Built in adaptor thats strong and wont fail like the kinect

Nicasus Probably unlikely, but I really hope Blu-Ray is coming to Xbox. PS3 has a big advantage with using Blu-Ray discs that can contain a significant amount more data than the discs Xbox uses. More data = more room for developers to add details and make the game more awesome. Or just getting rid of multiple discs like FF13, LA NOIRE, Forza III etc.
We have seen what has happened with EVERY game which are over 10gigs on ps3... ur ps3 overheats also i could care less about bluray just makes everything alot more expensive even better would be no Discs
