Apex Legends Players Are Finding Mysterious Jump Pads Around The Map

It looks like the rumored Legend Octane is just on the horizon now.
Over on the official Apex Legends subreddit players have begun posting images and video of what they believe to Octane’s ultimate skill scattered throughout King’s Canyon, the game’s map. On top of that, it looks like Respawn Entertainment developers are alluding to this being the rumored Legend’s ultimate attack. So it’s pretty safe to say that the Octane leak is probably real, and the character is probably coming soon along with the game’s first season pass.

Octane’s skills appear to include a passive that has him heal whenever he’s not taking damage. Additionally, his tactical skill is called “Adrenaline Junkie,” and has him move 30 percent faster for six seconds at the cost of 10 percent of his health. As you’ve probably guessed, Octane’s ult looks to place bounce pads that you can use to get the high ground on your enemies. Of course, nothing’s confirmed until it’s confirmed but it’s looking more and more likely that Octane is certainly real and will be the first new character in Apex Legends.

Apex Legends has taken the Battle Royale world by storm, amassing more than 50 million players in just one month. We gave the game a 10 out of 10, saying that the game takes “Battle Royale to New Heights.” If you’ve been enjoying the game, there’s still time for you to grab the Twitch Prime freebies until April 18 which gives you access to a Pathfinder skin as well as five loot boxes.

Apex Legends is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC via Origin.

I haven't seen no jump pads yet but I will be getting the battle pass soon and see what's in store.

coolbunny1234 Cool to see, but the battle pass doesn't seem to be offering too much. I'd like to see more features prioritized, such as solo mode and more players in a match.


Do you know exactly what it's offering? I don't think they want to give tons of stuff or else they would put all their eggs in one basket. I'm excited to see exactly what they have in store for it. I'm hoping they reset the player level each "season" like fortnite and it's not just a cosmetic system unlocking different cosmetics when you hit certain tiers. Although I would like to see duos and solos. This game (at least this map) feels like it caters to three man squads pretty well. I can't engaging how crowded it would feel with 100 people or 99 for 33 squads of 3. I'm really wanting a few different LTMs that could possibly be single options for character choice. Just think about how funny 60 Gibraltars would be all running around, or 60 Bangladors with the whole map smoked out. Or like "VIP" where some randomly picked on each team can't lick up a gun or use anything and the other two have to protect him the whole match and be the last team standing to get the W.

I've been having so much fun on this game. Really looking forward to see what's in store for the future. I could see my self playing this for a few years easy if they decide to add a ranked playlist with skill based matchmaking. Somthing like Halo 5 as an example.

Oh dang I didn't know that. Awesome! I'll be grinding for a couple hours tomorrow after work. If it's nothing too special probably won't buy it though.
