GoDaddy Rats Out the ModernWarfare3.com Owner

A few weeks ago, the funniest and greatest example of trolling hit the internet ever when someone had the balls to redirect ModernWarfare3.com to Battlefield 3′s website. Activision, naturally, was upset and has been trying to find out who did it. Well, Bobby Kotick and crew can stop their manhunt, as GoDaddy, via their “Domains by Proxy” hiding service, has outed the man who snagged the domain from Activision.

That man, in question, is Anthony Abraham from Miami, Florida. His trolling and obvious dislike of Activision has landed him in more hot water than he’d expected. Activision’s filed a domain name dispute with the National Arbitration Forum, and now that they know who Abraham is, he is pretty screwed. At the moment, the ModernWarfare3.com URL just brings up an error, as opposed to the Monty Python spoof video that was on through the weekend.

While all of this is pretty frigging funny, Activision has kind of brought this on themselves. They knew good and well that with the success of Modern Warfare 2 that there’d be a Modern Warfare 3, Infinity Ward issues be damned. It’ll be interesting to see what happens to Abraham in the end. In the meantime, I’d like to award Mr. Abraham with the “Troll of the Year” award.

Of course, even with all this trolling, it won’t matter until Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 duke it out on October 25 and November 8, respectively, of this year.

AND CoD is very unrealistic now, because its run and gun, even when you snipe, personally i like relatively fast run and gun games, it gives me more excitement than bf. For 1 reason, It isn't tedious to me to run, on bf's side its so boring for me to sit there occasionaly and wait for the whole team to start coming up, and if i rush i get **** by 50 tanks.
You make it sound as though you've played BF3.

I don't know how getting spawn killed by a noob tuber on CoD isn't tedious.

Black Ops is probably the worst CoD ive ever played. noob tubers werent even that big of a deal.


mw2 is fun for me becuaase run and gun, i play multiple game modes but my favorite is where noob tubes don't work for a bit when you spawn. CoD: BO was a horrible HORROBLE Multiplayer to me, i dont know why just, i didn't like it, i loved bf2 also. Just i dontl ike waiting

Agreed. It'll outsell only because people hop on the CoD bandwagon. But BF3 will be so much better.

Arrow They are both going to be great games. Fortunately the Multiplayer of Call of Duty series is so damn addictive and fun so it will win the war once again.

yeah thats pretty obvious i dont care about battlefield 3 but i have to say bfbc2 was good.
