Known for their wide range of content from in-depth discussions of games to anything and everything tied to pop culture and entertainment, more recently Kinda Funny ventured into crafting its own Nintendo Direct-style presentations in the form of last year’s Kinda Funny Games Showcase. Given the success of the first KFGS presentation, the show is officially set to return again, this time in the midst of E3 2019.
Kinda Funny‘s Greg Miller confirmed that the second Kinda Funny Games Show Showcase will make its debut during the week of E3 2019 on Monday, June 10, with the broadcast to begin at 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET.
While no other specific details were shared just yet as to what we’ll see from the second go-around of the Games Showcase, based on the first show from the Kinda Funny team, we can most likely expect it to largely highlight indie games and smaller projects from indie developers, perhaps sprinkled in with some larger-scaled announcements.
In the first Kinda Funny Games Showcase from last December, we saw numerous indie games make their debut or shared new footage, including games such as Ape Out, YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG, Moving Out, and many others. In addition to the range of indie games shown during the broadcast, the first KFGS also shared the debut of The Walking Dead: The Final Season‘s penultimate episode, while also giving us a look at the Western release of Judgment from SEGA.
