Nøkk is Rainbow Six Siege Phantom Sight's ghostly Danish Operator

4.5
Ubisoft has kickstarted preparations for its next update headed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, promising a fresh wave of content for the hit tactical shooter. The newly unveiled Operation Phantom Sight aims to bolster its multiplayer roster, delivering a spine-chilling trailer for one of its two mysterious playable Operators.

Nøkk has been a mystery for quite some time. There is very little that anyone outside Rainbow knows about her. For an accomplished undercover agent whose work remains mostly unrecorded, it is amazing that she has managed to hold onto who she is at her core.

Focused and driven, she uses her special operations training to infiltrate, gather intel and defeat her opponents. As a member of the Jægerkorpset, she strikes fear into the hearts of anyone who goes up against her.

Although yet to fully lift the veil Rainbow Six Siege's next Operators, early teasers align with previous leaks from March. "Nökk" and "Warden" are the slated stars of Operation Phantom Sight, one "invisible to cameras" by melding Caveira's and Vigil's abilities, while the latter rocks a "special eyesight" bypassing flash and smoke grenades. It's unclear how such gadgets could be implemented, although both carve new roles into the gameplay meta.

Ubisoft is expected to deliver its full Operation Phantom Sight unveiling on May 19, 2019, during the Rainbow Six Pro League Finals in Milan. Eager fans can tune into live broadcast via the Rainbow Six Twitch channel, scheduled for 11:25 AM ET (5:25 PM local time).
