Back in March, Gearbox and 2K finally unveiled Borderlands 3, which is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this year in September. Since then, it's shown off a lot of the game, which, for the most part, simply looks like more Borderlands. In other words, it looks like the madcap, over-the-top looter-shooter everyone has come to love, but refined a little bit. That said, one detail that wasn't clear was whether or not the game would be playable offline like previous entries. As you may know, more and more games require a constant Internet connection. For example, just this month Ubisoft revealed that even if you're playing it by yourself, Ghost Recon Breakpoint requires a constant Internet connection. Thankfully, Gearbox has confirmed that Borderlands 3 is 100 percent playable offline.
For looter-shooters especially, the ability to play offline is kinda rare. And when you top this news with the fact that there's also split-screen co-op, a lot of gamers are going to be pretty happy. Interestingly, Gearbox has also confirmed there will be vehicle customization, but it didn't go into further details on how robust this customization will be.
Borderlands 3 is poised to release on September 13 via the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. At the moment of publishing, there's been no word of any additional ports.
Mario350 so its gonna be on steam right because thats the only way to play offline on pc unless you can buy it and get a game launcher off the gearbox site? because epic store doesnt have offline features at all, if not im still getting the consoles launch as i know they have offline if you buy the disk version.
claptrap voice is really annoying now, but the game looks solid, also what membership are you guys talking about? every ps4 and one game i played including pc never needed memebership to play offline.

The game will be able to launch on its own not through the epic game store. Meaning you can launch it without epic launcher running or having connection. But this is also means that the game is able to be torrented and shit so that means game loaded with DRMS...
Yeah, this basically just solidified a bunch of people's plans to torrent it. A lot of people have already said they would torrent it to "show their voice" to Epic and Gearbox, only to buy it later when it's on Steam (makes zero sense, because you're still giving Gearbox/2K money, which means, they can still make deals with Epic like this, if people are going to end up buying on Steam later but whatever.) Some people had concerns about it being online only, but this just basically made it come to fruition. Metro Exodus was cracked within 5 days of release and I wouldn't doubt if BL3 is going to be cracked within the same time, if not sooner now because more people are on board for torrenting/piracy more now in protest against Epic.
