Community developer Chris Gansler noted on the recent State of the Game that, “We’ve heard rumours about us changing the raid difficulty… there are currently no plans to change that. We know the raid is harder on consoles, but we are happy with where we’re at.” More than 7,000 PC players cleared the raid while less than 200 cleared it on consoles. So whether Massive sticks to its guns or not in the long run remains to be seen.
The Division 2’s Operation Dark Hours raid does offer some interesting rewards. On top of an Exotic weapon, players can also earn different Gear Sets as drops. What could other raids and post-launch content have in store for the looter shooter especially with competitors like Borderlands 3 out in September? Time will certainly tell but we do know that a new Specialization is coming.
