Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reveal Coming on May 30th – Report

Today, a tweet went out about the next Call of Duty title, long rumoured to be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, is simply being called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Jason Schreier of Kotaku vouched for this and said that this being considered a “soft reboot”. Now Eurogamer is joining the fray, confirming from its own sources that the name change is legit.

Perhaps more importantly, sources told the site that an official reveal was coming on May 30th. It further added that for all intents and purposes, this is a new game. Not a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or essentially the same game as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

If an official trailer goes live next week, it would the pattern of Call of Duty reveals till now. Usually, Activision releases a trailer or hosts a special event hyping up the next game with more information at E3 2019. This year, Activision has confirmed that it won’t have a show floor booth. Infinity Ward will be present at the E3 Coliseum event though to talk about the next Call of Duty. Expect a proper information blow-out there but in the meantime, stay tuned for more potential leaks.

Aced Modern warfare series were my favorite and still are. Black ops 4 kind of disappointment me and B04 was my first black ops cod i played. I really hope they dont mess this up.


Just be Happy Call of Duty Ghosts wasn't your first, because i feel bad for the people who had their first experience on that COD, sheesh.

i dont ever trust what schreier says since hes not an activision or iw rep so its still all rumors.

and if theres no number after mw if it is a mw game which we dont know, it could be ghosts 2 but since bowling posted abounch of criptic pics of cod mw2 and i think cod 4 and or mw3 its leaning to be a mw game more then a ghosts two. and i will take back everything i said about the new cod not being an mw game if it turns out to be mw4 but if its only gonna be called cod mw(which a they cant use that name due to legal issues with the cod modern warfare remastered name using cod mw) and b would confuse us cod 4 fans.

as for the reveal i believe it since it is around this time that the iw 3arch and shg all puts out their trailers before e3, and since if im not mistaken acti and the crew arent going or be showing the game there this year so the reveal for may 30th is possible.

heres to hoping we get the final chapture of the mw games hell id honestly would take a reboot
