Prior to release, you can earn free loot for Borderlands 3 thanks to the Vault Insider Program.

Ahead of its launch in September, Gearbox is letting players earn free loot in Borderlands 3 thanks to the Vault Insider Program.

In addition to promoting the game across several social media channels, the program is offering a Borderlands 3 Welcome Pack. In it, players get ‘high rarity’ grenade and shield mods, and a VIP weapon trinket which will be available to use when Borderlands 3 comes out.

Additionally, players can unlock other items such as guns and skins by using points earned through the Vault Insider Program. Another enticing reward that can be purchased are skins for the new characters in Borderlands 3. These points are earned throughout the Borderlands games by doing certain tasks and they can be redeemed online.

Players can also earn points by referring the program to friends, linking social media and game accounts to it, and by spreading the word about Borderlands 3. It’s essentially a way to earn in-game rewards without spending real-world money. Players can sign up for the Vault Insider Program now.

Recently, a new trailer for Borderlands 3 was released and it shows off the four new vault hunters in action. It’s also been confirmed that the game will support cross-play but not at launch.
