Bethesda announced at Quakecon that DOOM, DOOM II, and DOOM 3 were coming out on all current-generation hardware. Once they released Xbox users began to notice that they could no longer purchase or download the Xbox 360 versions of DOOM and DOOM II. The delisting of the games was random and unexpected. Bethesda did not make any statement or response regarding the issue until now. According to Bethesdas Support Twitter page, the issue has been resolved and players can now purchase and download the game like normal.
We have resolved an issue where the Xbox 360 releases for DOOM & DOOM II were inaccessible from the “Ready to Install” dashboard on Xbox One.

If you have previously purchased these Xbox 360 titles, you can now re-download them on Xbox One. Thank you for your patience.
This is not the only problem that Bethesda experienced over the weekend. Players reported the games were requiring them to sign in to their bethesda.net account to play. Bethesda later said that logging into the account should be optional and are working to get it fixed. The developer as of now has not released an update regarding the issue being fixed.
The three titles should help you get your fix until DOOM Eternal releases on November 22. DOOM Eternal was given our E3 Game of the Show award this year so believe us when we say it’s going to be a good one. From our preview at E3, we found the game to be “a major improvement in every discernible way.”
DOOM Eternal will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. It will also be coming to Google Stadia at a later date.
