Rainbow Six Siege leaker claims new season is Operation Ember Rise

Rainbow Six Siege is well in to its fourth year at this point, and players continue to tear apart every scrap of information they can find about the upcoming seasons. We’re not far away from the proper reveal of Year 4 Season 3, but we’ve possibly already got the most crucial piece of information about the new season – specifically the title, along with some interesting implications.

This is according to notorious Siege leaker Komora on a post to ResetEra, who replied to a thread about the game with the suggestion that Year 4 Season 3 will be called Operation Ember Rise. The leaker also added a note about Season 4 too, that the only thing they knew about it was that “Jäger will have competition”. As Jäger is Siege’s main anti-grenade Operator, the game could be adding someone with similar abilities.

Nothing has been officially announced by Ubisoft regarding Season 3 (or 4) and so anything leaked should not be taken as a full announcement. Nevertheless, Komora previously leaked the names of Gridlock and Mozzie’s gadgets and was proven dead right, so they may be on to something.

Komora adds that they believe the recent concept art leak to be legitimate, which could mean these two pieces of Indiana Jones-like art showing the next two Operators – who, if the roadmap is correct, are from Peru and Mexico, which matches the images in the concept art.

Another Siege player on Reddit has theorized that the naming of the seasons recently have related to the new operators being added – Phantom Sight, for example, referred to Nokk (Phantom) and Warden (Sight). They suggest that Ember Rise lines up perfectly with the current theory regarding the upcoming gadgets for the new Operators – ‘Ember’ representing the rumoured Fire Shield, and ‘Rise’ being the Grappling Hook.

We don’t have long before we find out all the info on Year 4 Season 3 of Siege, as it’s being revealed this Sunday, August 18. Even before the supposed Operation Ember Rise is shown, we’re sure there will be more leaks and theories before that happens.
