Prepare for the release of The Surge 2 by playing the original game for free.

The Surge is currently free to play on Steam, now through August 29.

Sure, it’s only for a couple of days, but that should give you plenty of time to decide whether you like it or not.

If you do, it’s 75% off until August 30. With the discount applied the game will run you $7.49 instead of $29.99. The Augmented Edition, which includes all DLC, is also on sale for $19.99.

Last week, a second closed beta test was held for The Surge 2 on PC.

It releases on September 24 through Steam and for PS4 and Xbox One.
