Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PC Beta Requirements Revealed

The multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will return today for all PS4 players. However, those who pre-ordered Infinity Ward’s shooter on Xbox One and PC will be trying it out for the first time. An open beta will also take place on September 21st and 23rd but what can PC players expect in terms of system requirements?

An official blog post has been released, detailing the minimum and recommended specs for the beta on PC. At least 45 GB of hard disk space is required with minimum settings including an Intel Core i5 2500k, Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 with 2GB VRAM and 8 GB of memory overall. The recommend requirements include an Intel Core i7 4770k, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 with 4GB VRAM (or a GTX 1660 6GB) and 16 GB of RAM overall.

Not too shabby though we’ll actually have to play the beta to see how the optimisation is handled. This beta will include Ground War, a multiplayer mode that supports up to 100 players, and cross-platform play (more details on how the latter here). Later this month, Infinity Ward will reveal more gameplay of the campaign so stay tuned. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out on October 25th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Anime Wouldn't have a problem on PC but would rather play on Xbox One.


I'm the same but you can play on the PC and it will look a lot nicer and still play with your Xbox friends and you can use an Xbox controller on the PC

cant ever play the beta on pc anymore even though the whole game looks like aids on pc with low spec pcs that can push high textures at 1080p screen scale well the game is forced to run at 800x600 not even joking a game shouldnt look like it has film grain on low end pcs like a i5 2500k/i3 7100, i recommend cant believe im saying this for fidelity get the console version, or tell me how to fix the ugly fidelity that is the forced low rez

I haven't experience any issues with lag. But, the game definitely isn't opitimized properly yet so until it is, expect it be be buggy even with the lastest drivers that came out for Borderlands/COD. My specs are 8700k, RTX 2080, 16GB of DDR4 ram.
