Before her release later this month, Sindel has finally ben formally unveiled in Mortal Kombat 11.

After months of anticipation and teases, NetherRealm Studios has today finally released the first official gameplay footage of Sindel in Mortal Kombat 11, and she looks pretty awesome.

Much like in previous Mortal Kombat games, Sindel’s moveset in MK11 mainly centers around the use of her banshee-like scream and her grappling abilities with her hair. She also has a pike at her disposal that she uses to endlessly stab the heck out of her opponents.

As for how Sindel looks like she plays, she seems to be a character that can close long distances quickly. She also looks like someone that you’d like to keep right in the face of your opponent, as most of her moves seem to be close-range.

As for her fatality, well, wouldn’t you know, it looks extremely brutal. Sindel’s fatality sees her grasping her opponent in front of her with her hair before letting out a long screech directly in their face. As the scream continues on, her opponent’s skin starts to then peel off before the lower half of their body eventually separates. She then lets out one more yell that sends the rest of the body exploding apart into pieces. It’s definitely a cool fatality, but also one of the more grotesque ones we’ve seen added to MK11 in some time.
