EA have released some details about the multiplayer modes you’ll find in Battlefield 3.

Battlefield 3 will feature a total of 5 modes that will span across 9 maps. The modes are, Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Rush, Squad Rush and Conquest.

Team Deathmatch is your standard affair, up to 24 players battling it out with no vehicles.

Squad Deathmatch will hold up to 16 players and will be split into 4 teams of 4. Each team will also have their own Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV).

Rush is popular amongst the Bad Company players out there. It will feature 24 players on consoles and 32 on PC. The aim is to either attack M-COM stations and progress through the map or stop the other team from doing so. Each team takes it in turns to attack and defend,

Squad Rush is almost exactly the same as standard Rush except with fewer players – 8 – and fewer M-COM stations.

Lastly, Conquest will feature 24 players on console or up to 64 on PC. This is the mode for the full out warfare, it’ll feature all sorts of vehicles allowing you to cause mayhem. The aim is to remove all of the enemies tickets. To remove tickets you can either kill them a lot or capture and hold enemy flags.

As well as these modes there’s also Hardcore and Infantry modes. These can be selected on any of the modes or maps and will slightly effect the game modes depending on which one you choose. They’re fairly straight forward, Infantry mode will remove all of the vehicles and Harcore mode will reduce the damage you can take which turns the game into a more tactical affair.

Actually Mw3 will not fail like Mw2. First off yea the graphic and some stuff are just like Mw2 but guess what IW made Mw3 like cod4 also. So its like Mw2 and cod4 in one game. Remember what IW said, we bringing mw3 to the roots of the game. Which means less camping more gun skill. Of course you won't be playing this game because you have no gun skill what so ever. So stop trying to debate if BF3 is better or Mw3 will be better because like EA said they don't expect BF3 to beat Mw3. And yea EA said that. EA used Mw3 as a hyping tool. Basically to get Publicity and hype up BF3.

Yeah IW says a lot of things.... EA also said they believe MW3 would beat BF3 in sales, but in sheer quality BF3 wins hands down. Also I see that you said CoD takes gunskill. That is a joke... If you have ever fired a real weapon, you would know that it has a lot more recoil than how COD depicts it. Battlefield 3 is like shooting a real weapon, just look at the alpha multiplayer gameplay.
Quality > Quantity


What's the point of Quality when no one plays it? Obviously Quantity wins everything. Regardless if your opinion is high quality graphics is better.. thats a lie. A game everyone can enjoy is better. CoD is for everyone... its the sort of rate E FPS game. lol BF is more for old mature whiny kids. ( what i mean is " Have you shot a gun in real life? It soo has so much recoil "COD is soooo fake" That's what BF3 players will be like. Well guess what Adults? Have you been shot in real life? Takes time to heal, and if your shot is lethal you could die! Oh yeah, you cant respawn in real life. A game is just a game.. the winner is who ever has the most players. MW3 will win no matter what... and even if Treyarch makes the next title.. every game improves and improves. No matter what a company wont make the same mistake twice. So i end this with; Good luck Battlefield... youll need it.

If IW made a game called Call of Duty Dick Sucking, and said it would be like CoD 4 & MW2 combined, I'm going to assume it would still sell more JUST BECAUSE it says Call of Duty. The game doesn't even have to be good.

I says with the hyped from Mw3 , BF3 will be dead in 5 months. And no Mw3 will not be dead in 3 months nor 6 months. Mw3 will probably be dead with in a year and a couple a months when treyarch drop their COD for 2013.

BF3 with the realistic graphics war like fighting, jets etc. MW3's gonna be beast with its Spec Ops and multiplayer which to me, no COD has let me down. I don't see why people complain about Black Ops, i find it perfectly fine. But nonetheless quit fighting you will have your hands full for a good year.
