That said, evidence that the game is being developed continues to mount. Just recently, GTA 6 was spotted in the resume of actor Jorge Consejo, which can be found on his website. Apparently, he played the role of someone known as “The Mexican”, and it seems the voice work for this role was already done back in 2018, suggesting that the game has been in development since at least then (if not longer- voice work usually isn’t among the very first things developers do during a game’s development).
Interestingly enough, Consejo hasn’t removed GTA 6 from his CV yet, but jut in case he does, you can take a look at a screencap below. Meanwhile, he has apparently also been asked about the same several times on Twitter, and in a recent tweet, he said that he is unable to comment on “certain projects” because of “contract stipulations.”
GTA 6 also popped up in a former Rockstar’s resume about a year ago- read more on that through here. Meanwhile, GTA 5 continues to sell like peanuts, having shipped over 120 million units worldwide at last count.
Dear friends,

While I read every message from you, please know that because of contract stipulations sometimes I’m unable to comment on certain projects. Please don’t feel ignored or unseen. I appreciate and value every single one of you. ❤️✌🏼
