Final Fantasy 7 Remake Shipped 3.5 Million Copies Worldwide in 3 Days

In 3 days, Final Fantasy 7 Remake shipments and digital sales passed 3.5 million worldwide, Square Enix announced via the game's official Twitter account.

The official Final Fantasy 7 Remake English Twitter account shared the first worldwide sales numbers for the game. Final Fantasy 7 Remake shipped and sold digitally over 3.5 million copies worldwide in three days, meaning from April 10 to April 12 included.

According to Famitsu’s sales numbers, Final Fantasy 7 Remake shipped 702,853 physical copies during the April 10-April 12 period in Japan. There are no numbers for digital sales. It’s likely Square Enix, via the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Japanese official Twitter, will publish specififc numbers for Japan at some point.

Update: According to Famitsu, Square Enix specifed that FF7R sold 1 million copies in Japan in three days.

FF7R is currently available on PlayStation 4. The game will be coming to PC most certainly. Square Enix already said it’s a PS4 exclusive until April 2021.

If you haven’t heard the news, the seiyuu of Reno, Keiji Fujiwara, sadly passed away a few days ago from cancer. Multiple other seiyuu and Japanese personalities have shared tributes in his memory.

That sure is a lot of copies in only 3 days that is insane. I want to try this game so bad but as an xbox user I won't be able to. Probably when it comes to PC though!

That's some crazy stats 3.5 Million copies worldwide in 3 days. If china reached one million copies in one day what United Kingdom reach close or over one million copies does anybody know just curious?
