After a very lengthy stream, Ubisoft officially revealed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the next entry in the popular action-adventure franchise.
Revealed during a Twitch stream on Ubisoft’s official channel, after a full 8 hours of artist BossLogic creating some incredible art for the game, the title Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was formally shown. The World Premiere Trailer for the upcoming game will be revealed tomorrow, on April 30, at 8 am PDT / 5 pm CEST.
While details on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla are still sparse, the heavily rumored Viking theme is essentially confirmed based on BossLogic’s art. I’m no historian but based on some very light research and with the help of Senior Staff Writer Ben Bayliss, it may take place around 993 AD when the Vikings attack and assume control of Bamburgh from the Anglo Saxons. Of course, this is all speculation, and we will definitely know for sure tomorrow.
BossLogic also shared his enthusiasm for the project on Twitter thanking everyone for watching and making sure you don’t miss the premiere.

Personally, I am incredibly excited to see what Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has to offer. However, there are a ton of questions I have after seeing BossLogic’s finished piece. The character in the center is definitely the protagonist and a man; will there be a male and female option like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? There are two environments shown to the character’s left and right side; will there be two different islands or maps? When is the actual time frame for this? With the new consoles slated to come this year, will this be a cross-gen game like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag? There are just so many questions, and hopefully, most of them will be answered during the world premiere.
