In a reply to Xbox Series X’s list of development partners, the developer confirmed Destiny would be coming to “next-gen platforms” and that more details would be revealed in the future.
It’s possible that Destiny 2 could support Xbox Smart Delivery, the platform scheme that lets players buy a game once and play it across Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
While all first-party Xbox Game Studios titles will support Smart Delivery, third parties can choose whether to or not.
Hundreds of titles are already in development for Xbox Series X thanks to our amazing partner community. Stay tuned for more announcements throughout the summer and Xbox 20/20!
