Announced this afternoon, Twitch has now signed a new partnership with rapper Logic that is worth at least seven figures. The news comes only a few days after Logic announced that his final album, No Pressure, would be releasing later this week on July 24. Alongside the album’s announcement, Logic also revealed that he would be formally retiring after its release in order to take care of his newborn son.
However, even though he might be retiring from the music industry doesn’t mean he won’t be around whatsoever, which is where his new deal with Twitch comes about. Logic has always been open about his passion for gaming and has previously operated a YouTube channel that largely focused on him showing off his nerdier side. He has also been active on Twitch throughout the years as well, which made this partnership somewhat natural.

As for what the popular rapper says fans can expect from his streams, Logic says he wants to make it a chill place where people can escape from what’s going on in the real world. “This is the place where if you want to interact with me, you’re going to do it here,” Logic said in a conversation with The Verge. “I’m not going to be on Twitch, having political debates. I’m going to be on Twitch, helping people after they’ve had a day of protesting or political debates, unwind and laugh and smile. And if you want to know how I feel about the world, you listen to my music.”
As for Logic’s first stream, he’s set to go live tomorrow on Tuesday, July 21 where he’ll be premiering No Pressure to his audience. You can find his channel right here to follow him ahead of time if you’d like to be alerted when he goes live.
