The Overcooked series has long been known as one of the best ways you can play together with friends and at the same time end those very same friendships. The series’ focus on fun, accessible gameplay combined with chaos in the kitchen has been one of its hallmarks, and if you missed out on the first two games, you can feast on the entire series with its next-gen debut.
During the Summer Game Fest’s second Day of the Devs showcase, Overcooked: All You Can Eat was officially announced by publisher Team17 and developer Ghost Town Games, and is confirmed to be coming to both the PS5 and Xbox Series X. At the moment there is no firm release window for the game, but it was confirmed to be “coming soon” to the next-gen platforms.
As seen in the reveal trailer, All You Can Eat will collect the first two Overcooked titles and will include every piece of DLC and additional content from both games, alongside new levels and chefs. Overall, All You Can Eat will feature over 200 levels, giving you and your friends and family a lot of culinary chaos to dig through.
Aside from the content of the first two games and DLC, All You Can Eat will also feature both games completely remastered in 4K/60fps on PS5 and Xbox Series and new accessibility options, including an assist mode. The remastered collection will also introduce online multiplayer to the series for the first time with full crossplay support between platforms, finally bringing a long-requested feature to the (traditionally) local multiplayer series. Additionally, the remastered collection will feature brand new Trophies and Achievements that you can collect across the original game and Overcooked 2.
Overcooked: All You Can Eat is currently in development for PS5 and Xbox Series, and will be “coming soon” to both platforms.
