First Dead Island DLC arriving mid-November

The first batch of Dead Island DLC will now arrive in mid-November.

"We have news for all who are waiting for the Bloodbath Arena DLC," reads a message left on the game's official Facebook page.

"It will be moved to mid November. The additional time will be used to make sure that every Dead Island fan will receive the best experience possible on every platform." Initially scheduled to launch in September, the DLC was delayed so developer Techland could continue to iron out the kinks in the main game itself.

When it does arrive, Bloodbath Arena will introduce four new areas for you and three friends to slice and dice increasingly difficult waves of zombies.

Anyway, I'll probably get the DLC. I enjoy playing Dead Island, especially multiplayer!

Whisper Yay, now the game will be less boring for another 2 days -_-
only boring if you dont have people to play with, ive gone exploring with friends in the game and actually had my friend stuck in a spot on the resort for about an hour

Then you clearly didn't play it long enough/was no good at it.

Also, you do realise it's a rpg? Half the enjoyment is from finding new things by yourself with no help from the computer.

This game is great and hopefully the dlc will bring something nice to the table.


It took me 2 days to complete it with nearly all sidequests. I only skipped the last ones in the prison. After my 2nd playthrough I had all Skulls, nearly all mods, all ID'S and I was lvl 50. I need to add that I used YT for some of the Skulls but not for all.

So sorry it maybe has RPG elemnts in it but it is far away from the playtime I normally put into a RPG.
