The studio said a wave of fake emails have been distributed over the past few weeks, promising access to a pre-release test of the highly anticipated RPG.
It told players that any official email communications from the studio will always come from an @cdprojektred address and not from a third party one.
Additionally, CD Projekt confirmed it does “not have plans” for a Cyberpunk 2077 beta.
2/2 Same goes for content creators. We always reach out directly from @ cdprojektred com domain. If you are being contacted by a third party claiming to be working with us (an ad agency for example), you can assume it's not genuine.

The Cyberpunk 2077 release date was recently delayed by two months to November 19, marking a second delay for the game this year after it slipped from its originally targeted April launch to September.
CD Projekt intends to release a “proper, full-blown next-gen version” of Cyberpunk 2077 in 2021, which is very likely to support its own ray-tracing visual effects.
