The first update includes several general fixes and some weapon tuning.
These include a fix for an issue where explosive rounds on the Rytec AMR could still be equipped in Call of Duty League modes, a fix for an error players could receive when opening the weapon armoury, and a fix for an exploit in the Shooting Range trial.
On the weapon front, the FAL now offers increased headshot damage (2 hit at range with 1 headshot) but reduced near damage (limbs and lower torso always 3 shot), the Holger-26 and M91 have increased damage and ADS speed, and the Bruen MK9’s damage range has been reduced.
According to Infinity Ward senior communications manager Ashton Williams, the second patch will fix “the graphical corruption issue with weapons, the ‘Play Again’ option not working, and more”.
There’s no “ETA just yet” on when the patch will be released, she added.
At around 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm UK on Tuesday, Infinity Ward also said that issues some players have been experiencing connecting to the Modern Warfare and Warzone servers are “now resolving”.
This issue is now resolving. You may still encounter a temporary queue as players begin to reconnect. Thank you again for your patience. https://t.co/UgA6wTzUFS
