Watch Dogs Legion can be run with an Intel Core-i5 4460 processor and an Nvidia GTX 960 with 6 GB of RAM on the lowest preset, but for ray-tracing, you’re going to need an RTX 2070, at least.
Directed by Clint Hocking, the man behind Far Cry 2, Watch Dogs Legion is going to be a cross-gen title, but there’s no doubt that it will deliver the best visuals on high-end PCs. In order to give you a better understanding of your system’s ability for playing Watch Dogs Legion, Ubisoft has shared a detailed list of system requirements for various resolutions and presets.
If you’d like to get the most realistic graphics out of this game, you should definitely turn the Ray-Tracing feature on, which will require an Nvidia RTX 2070 for 1080p resolution and an RTX 280 Ti for 4K resolution. Those graphics cards should be assembled with an Intel Core-i5-9600K and an Intel Core-i7 9700K respectively.
That said, you can turn off the ray-tracing feature for higher frame-rates on the same system for 4K resolution. But for 2K and 1080p resolutions, RTX 2060S and GTX 1060 would be great respectively. Here you can check out the other details as well:
The game will require 45 GB of free space on your HDD or SSD, but you should free-up 20 GB additionally if you want to get high-resolution texture packs.
Later in October, the third installment from Ubisoft’s modern-day open-world franchise will be out. Watch Dogs Legion is supposed to be the most ambitious entry of the series, thanks to its interesting depiction of the post-Brexit London and the ability to play as everyone in the game.
Watch Dogs Legion will be available on October 29 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Epic Games Store and Uplay). The game will also hit Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 10th. The launch date for the PS5 edition is yet to be revealed.
