Battlefield 3 Xbox 360 Install Size Revealed

As in the case of all game releases, some retailers break the rules and sell a few copies early. In this instance, some gamers who received the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 3 decided to see just how much HDD room the game will take up.

With two discs and a high quality texture pack, Battlefield 3 is a hefty game. Based on the pictures from the early release copies of the game, the single player disc will take up 6.7 GB, and the multiplayer/co-op disc will take up 7.3 GB. If you decide to install the texture pack, you will need an additional 1.5 GB of space. With updates and all, the full game with all the bells and whistles will require 15.5 GB of hard drive room. The interesting fact is that this is 4 GB more than the PC version of the game, which is 11.6 GB.

So there you have it, Battlefield 3 installed on the Xbox 360. For those with limited room, you will definitely need to make some hard choices on what to keep and what to delete.

Ok you guys make a big deal out of the hard drive size,yes its 15.5gb,but think,this will most likely be the size of most games in years to come.
and for the people with 20gb this is what you do to save space.
install both discs.delete the singleplayer install from your harddrive when you beat it.then just play multiplayer.
simple as that,just saved you some space :P

Arrow I beat this game the other night (Decent story) and it has trash graphics on the xbox 360. The PC version on the other hand looks great when I played the beta.
