Battlefield 3 Xbox 360 Install Size Revealed

As in the case of all game releases, some retailers break the rules and sell a few copies early. In this instance, some gamers who received the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 3 decided to see just how much HDD room the game will take up.

With two discs and a high quality texture pack, Battlefield 3 is a hefty game. Based on the pictures from the early release copies of the game, the single player disc will take up 6.7 GB, and the multiplayer/co-op disc will take up 7.3 GB. If you decide to install the texture pack, you will need an additional 1.5 GB of space. With updates and all, the full game with all the bells and whistles will require 15.5 GB of hard drive room. The interesting fact is that this is 4 GB more than the PC version of the game, which is 11.6 GB.

So there you have it, Battlefield 3 installed on the Xbox 360. For those with limited room, you will definitely need to make some hard choices on what to keep and what to delete.

Ill be honest, i never really got into the battlefield series, more of a CoD guy, but i have been playing Battlefield 3 for the past 3 days, and it is a really good game. It isn't just run and gun...tanks...jets...blowing s##t up. You know, it is worth the 60 bucks imo.

BF3 is better than any CoD will ever be. All cod is, is the same shitty engine used over and over again. Basically all thats done is slapping on a new cover, adding more perks and unbalanced guns. So why dont you just pay for basically the same game over and over and stop trolling on a good game... FANBOY!

Only reason BF3 seems like its getting better is because they started off shitty as hell. Its **** horrible. You sprint and try to shoot what happens oh yeah nothing your gun just sways back and forth like your character if retarded.


Yeah, because in real life you can just stop instantly on the spot without stumbling or swaying /sarcasm

Exactly in bf3 your not running around and drop shotting. you actually have to think about what you do.
