Call of Duty Double XP Across The Whole Franchise Next Week

Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist at Infinity Ward has confirmed that for the first time in Call of Duty history - a double XP event is being rolled out across the whole franchise for games which have Prestige Mode.

The idea behind this is to earn Prestige Points before the release of Modern Warfare 3 on November 8th 2011 where you can use your points to buy Prestige Only items from a Prestige Shop. This can be custom emblems, weapons, buy more double XP time and a whole lot of other things...

The Mega Double XP event will commence on the weekend of October 27th 2011

Well thats nice to know I'll be rewarded for my 10th prestige in mw, 8th in mw2, and 15th in blackops.

I'm confussed. Can you just yet 50 no prestige in cod4, prestige, get into a bot lobby and prestige again and still earn tokens!?

You get one prestige token for every call of duty game you've prestiged in not one for each prestige. So if you've prestige in cod 4, waw, mw2, and black ops you will get 4 tokens.

Arrow Damn I have a new account! No prestige point for me unless I earn a prestige!!!

And for people who are not able to understand the video, if you prestiged once or more times in any call of duty you will get 1 token for mw3, and no more until you start prestiging on mw3.
This i understand cause 4 token is unfair... i have a 11th prestige in cod 4 and WaW and i hacked Modern Warfare 3 10th prestige and im ban off Blacks Ops... i have been a bad boy :)
