Modern Warfare 3 gameplay trailer shows gun progression

There's over three minutes of Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer footage below in a new trailer focusing on the game's weapon progression.

Infinity Ward says the video will help you grasp "how MW3 evolves gun progression with its new weapon ranking system."

It adds: "The new progression system is designed to improve specific weapon leveling unlocks (camo, attachments, reticles etc.), and features new weapon proficiencies. Proficiencies allow players to specialize their weapons with new attributes (some unique to specific weapon classes)."

looked like a mix of mw2 and cod 4. both good games, but nothing really exciting or new. i mean theres new things but it just doesnt look all that amazing as everyone is making it out to be. im getting the same old vibe. nothin really exciting or new lookin as far as gameplay. but i'll get it. i really dont see whats so damn special though. and for all you who keep bringing up "ohhhh bf3 is horrible and mw3 is gonna whoop ass" no. your dumb. they are completely different in playing styles and graphic wise.i mean seriously, i even agree that bf3 beta was TERRABAD. but still that was a beta. the game is out and it has great graphics and great team based gameplay. for any of you who dont give bf3 atleast some credit for its graphics atleast, your just retarded and dont know how to rate a game. on the other hand, mw3, fast paced, action packed, shooter. same graphics engine since cod4. you know what owell. both good games. just stop bitching. there are both gonna be really good, just have fun people.

Dude Battlfield 3 is the biggest waste of money in gaming history! It was far too overhyped and is just, well, bad! Please wake up and realise that!

Why is it bad? So far it's the best game out there.
Modern Warfare 3 might be fun, but it's just not going to beat Battlefield 3. IW doesn't get enough funds from Activision to really make it better. If a game from 2011 is running on the Quake 3 engine, there's problems.

Both MW3 and BF3 are going to be sick. The gun progression idea is pretty cool as well.
