The new Xbox UX will also be available for Xbox Series X/S at launch, and for Xbox Game Pass on PC and all Xbox mobile apps.
On Xbox Series X, the home screen is said to load 50 percent faster when you boot the console and almost 30 percent faster when exiting a game, although it’s unclear if this is the case for current-gen consoles too.
The XSX UI is 1080p right now, but the embargo says specifically not to dwell on the UI elements because it isn't final and will be updated before launch. If it's still 1080p, then that would be frustrating.

“Text is more readable, elements on screen are easier to understand at a glance, and accomplishing your tasks is faster than ever,” Microsoft said when it revealed the new dashboard in August.
“This includes tile shape, fonts, an updated illustration style, and more. The overall layout of most of the console pages remains familiar, just faster and more focused.”
Players can now customise their profile with themes, which “have been quite popular” with Xbox Insiders, according to Microsoft.
It’s also been reported today that the Xbox Series X/S render their UIs in 1080p, although this could yet change, according to VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb.
Today Sony revealed the PlayStation 5’s system menu in an 11-minute video. It is rendered at native 4K, with each game and media app using the additional space to receive its own large portion of the home screen.
Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will launch on November 10. Today Microsoft announced the Xbox Series X/S software launch line-up featuring 30 games, including 20 which support Smart Delivery.
