Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer trailer shows new modes, maps

Activision has launched a new Modern Warfare 3 trailer focusing on the game's new multiplayer modes.

Sledgehammer Games co-founder Micheal Condrey and Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin offer a behind the scenes look at Capture the flag variant Team Defender, dog tag pick up mode Kill Confirmed, as well as user generated game modes which allow you to customise existing game types.

They also discuss and show off some of the multiplayer maps you'll be waging war in, from London to Paris and New York, explaining that the locations retain the verticality of previous series entries "but reduce the [number of] danger spots so that the maps flow better and feel better".

THE IDEA BEHIND MW3:
One day the guys in infinity ward said hey lets make a game. They pondered for a few days and said hey why don't we rip off Bungie and make the same thing but have them pay for it. The other said hey lets copy off of battlefield with the dogtag system. The other said hey lets let them make their own custom gametypes like halo! The others said F*CK IT LETA PUT THIS ALTOGETHER AND CALL IT MW3. They cheered and had drinks and all the fanboys rejoiced. This is called BE ORIGINAL. DONT COPY OTHERS AND IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN GOOD... BY THE WAY I LOVE CALL OF DUTY BUT THEY NEED TO STOP THIS BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What you two are doing is making assumptions BF3 is a great game and I bet MW3 will be also and again you 2 are making assumptions that he is a BF Fanboy let the fans stick with there games BF fanboys dont give a single **** about MW3 now.

I agree, just because someone is saying shit about mw3, doesnt mean they are a "BF3 Fanboy" lol I have bf3 and its an amazing game, it shows you another side of First person shooters that call of duty cant with its huge maps and vehicles. however, the call of duty series is close to me and I love it for its more competitive feel. I have mw3 preordered even though i do think it looks like mw2 with new maps and guns... I'm gonna give it a try and then judge the game. until its in your console and you've played it, nobody should be talking shit at all

The new gamemodes look like a great addition to the game, let's just hope the matchmaking is up to par with it as well.

The one gametype is like halo king of the hill and ctf combined Pretty cool I guess.
