Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer trailer shows new modes, maps

Activision has launched a new Modern Warfare 3 trailer focusing on the game's new multiplayer modes.

Sledgehammer Games co-founder Micheal Condrey and Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin offer a behind the scenes look at Capture the flag variant Team Defender, dog tag pick up mode Kill Confirmed, as well as user generated game modes which allow you to customise existing game types.

They also discuss and show off some of the multiplayer maps you'll be waging war in, from London to Paris and New York, explaining that the locations retain the verticality of previous series entries "but reduce the [number of] danger spots so that the maps flow better and feel better".

This game is looking great! A lot of people say oh it's "Modern Warfare 2", well guess what? It was a great game, I despised Black Ops, and I know I'm gonna like this one.

Battlefield 3 got traded in after two days, beautiful graphics but crappy game play. Campaign was also weaksauce.

It's my opinion, your entitled to yours.

One day the guys in infinity ward said hey lets make a game. They pondered for a few days and said hey why don't we rip off Bungie and make the same thing but have them pay for it. The other said hey lets copy off of battlefield with the dogtag system. The other said hey lets let them make their own custom gametypes like halo! Haha, you are a true remtard my friend. The dogtag system really? it works nothing like battlefield and its only one game mode lol. Plus weve always been able to make our own gametypes its called private match now we can just upload them... not forge you idiot. adn in no way did they copy bungie haha, you truley are the first person I have ever heard say that!

@Haloreachfreak, to make a game great or make anything great, u have to do what everyone like's not just make new stuff, but copy others, and improve what they copied and make it better.

Klimax The one gametype is like halo king of the hill and ctf combined Pretty cool I guess.


It's more of an Oddball variant. That looks great, I loved that gametype in Halo 3.

This made me lol.
To bad CoD had dog tags way before battelfield. And CoD also had multiplayer game modes long before Halo. They had them in the 1st CoD.
So before you talk crap get you facts straight. The guys at IW have created a beautiful engine with little to no flaws. Each game they keep revamping it in a new way that makes buying it all worth while. Like in MW3 they added new awesome game modes, point streaks, prestige shop, custom game modes in Private match.
Just to let you know Halo is my favorite game series. I also love CoD and I hate Battlefield.
