And the predictions begin; next week’s Modern Warfare 3 is, according to Wedbush crystal ball Michael Pachter, expected to out-do its Treyarch-developed predecessor Black Ops by 10% and reach revenues of $1.1 billion in its first six weeks on the market.

To compare, Black Ops crossed the $1bn mark in six weeks, while Modern Warfare 2 did it in nine.

The analyst also speculates that Call of Duty Elite will have gained four million subscribers by the end of the calendar year.

MW3 is out next Tuesday, November 8th, worldwide.
