Deep Silver has announced the official release date for Dead Island's Bloodbath Arena DLC. The pack was originally set to launch shortly after the release of the game but will now be coming next week, on November 22nd.

The pack will include four different arenas with wave-based challenges for both single-player and co-op, and experience and money earned in the mode can be carried over to the single player campaign. A new weapon, the Brain Wave Bomb, will also be included, as well as new leaderboards.

Bloodbath Arena will be free for anyone who pre-ordered the game on Steam or bought the Collector's Edition back in September. For everyone else, it will be 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, or $9.99 on Steam and PlayStation 3.
