We all knew it was going to happen, but today’s trailer for Dragon Age 4 during The Game Awards came with more hints and what the upcoming title will contain than expected.
Although a release date wasn’t announced and gameplay wasn’t shown, the upcoming title from BioWare’s cinematic trailer showed a familiar face for Dragon Age: Inquisition players. Solas, a companion turned antagonist in Dragon Age: Inquisition appears at the end, against a massive portrait of the Dread Wolf. For those that don’t know, the Dread Wolf is an Elven trickster god in the Dragon Age universe.
Tonight’s trailer for Dragon Age 4 was also voiced by another companion from Inquisition: Varric Tethras. It’s not clear what his involvement in the game will be, but his narration of this trailer almost assures that he will be present in some way.
