Currently the only official way to access the PS5 game is via the $70/£70 Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, which includes a download code for Remastered.
This fact is actually stated on the PlayStation Store web page which appears to list the title as a standalone product priced at $39.99 in the US and £44.99 in the UK.
We haven’t found any reports of players being able to successfully download the product. In fact, some who already own the game as part of the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition report it showing up as Spider-Man Game of the Year Edition when added to their shopping cart and the same thing happened when we tried.
It’s unclear if the listing is an error or whether it has been uncovered ahead of an official announcement, but we’ve contacted Sony to ask.
Insomniac Games recently released an update for Marvel’s Spider-Man which allows the transfer of save files from PS4 to the PS5 remaster.
