Sledgehammer begins work on new Call of Duty

Modern Warfare 3 co-developer Sledgehammer Games has begun work on a new Call of Duty, a job listing spotted on Gamasutra reveals Clear as day, it says the studio is “actively recruiting top talent for our Call of Duty development team” with this specific ad looking for a senior online engineer. The chosen one’s duties will include ‘bringing our online experience to a new level’ as well as “the creation of multiplayer game modes and online community features.”

It’s likely this is the 2013 Call of Duty then, unless the studio’s original, action-adventure COD spin-off has found new life. Either way, don’t expect it to be an early title on the next-gen hardware; the listing specifically calls for experience on “current-gen consoles.”

IW games are very noob friendly that's why they sell more and more hype.

3arc games are more realistic recoil etc that's why blackops sold the most copies so far but has the most 90 day TRADE INS

I'm sorry, last time I checked, Black Ops has been out for over a year. OBVIOUSLY it's going to have more sales. MW3 got more FIRST DAY sales and will most likely pass Black Ops in sales. Oh, and Black Ops was very noob friendly. Put a FAMAS or AK74u in anyone's hands and they can dominate. My 7 year old brother can even go positive with one of those, and he sucks.


FAMAS AND 74U were not overpowerd famas isnt good at all there are way more weapons thats are good and 3arc is the best.

You do realize that IW essentially made both of those games right? CoD 4 isn't SledgeHammer's problem, and neither is MW3. SledgeHammer helped t o develop it, but IW did most of the work. So it's IWs problem.
