Xbox Live Dashboard Update is now LIVE! + Connection Issues

According to majornelson the Xbox Live Update that was scheduled, but got delayed a tad, is now rolling out to all 35 million users on the service. "Some Xbox LIVE members are getting a connection error when signing in to LIVE. We are aware of the issue and the team is working it!" -majornelson! There seems to be a minor hiccup with some users not being able to connect to Xbox Live, they are aware of this issue and are working on it. So if you haven't got your update yet, remain calm and ponder on how cool all those new apps are! For those who were not in the preview program this year for the new dashboard, maybe next year you should attempt to get in to avoid all this update launch day hullabaloo...

the new dashboard looks cool but i havent been able to watch anything on netflix since i got it

I got the new update, and the only apps that are available are zune, facebook and twitter, which where already available on the old dash.... so I heard there are gonna be youtube and espn apps, when are thos rolling out?

You can still put on themes -_-

Go to social and click on the thing with your avatar on it.

i had that happen too. Just turn off your xbox and keep trying to connect to live. After every failed attempt, turn off your xbox and retry. I got it my 4th try.

guys dont be so spiteful about this. there are some major bugs but they are working on them to help us so just have some patience. and yes the connection issues are weird.it would let me sign into XBL on MW3 but not on dashboard.

worse comes to worse,it can be like my friend where it actually froze my friends xbox,gave it RROD(i think),and burnt his MW3 disk.before the update he had no problems but had connection issues and lags then that happened
