Skyrim already nearing Oblivion’s lifetime sales

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has moved the franchise forward quite a bit for Bethesda. And by quite a bit I mean a whole lot.

The NPD data for the month of November shows that the open-world RPG has nearly reached the lifetime sales of predecessor Oblivion, and that’s a feat it achieved during its first 20 days or so of being on sale. It came just around half a million copies short.

By now, it may have well blasted past Oblivion.

We’ll label that mighty impressive and head right back to discovering the seemingly endless amount of content the game has on offer.

The game is totally worth it (I mean, basically infinite hours of gameplay)! Just like Oblivion (in my opinion).. I'm glad that this game is getting more & more popular each day!

i got lost in arena an fell on a dagger to awaken in morrowind where i became a god and then i arose to prevent the rise of oblivion and conquered the isles too be reborn yet again .
