Modern Warfare 3 update addresses lag, certain glitches

Good news, soldiers: The multiplayer component of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has received its sixth title update since the game's launch; a patch which addresses lag and a number of glitches players have been exploiting for their own nefarious, personal gain. Gone are the days of melee-jumping, as well as clan tags which use the controller's symbols to spell dirty words. (Bal[LS] indeed, sir.)
A number of guns have also been tweaked (see: nerfed) as hotfixes introduced to the title. You can check out a full list of these readjusted armaments after the jump, and pray that your precious, precious firearm evaded the developers' all-seeing eye.
Title update: Additional improvements to address lag. Fix for Melee Jump. Clan Tag Validation (remove buttons from clan tags). Improve Host Migration logic. Prevent stat loss when player loses connection from server (internet pull / drop).

Fire rate normalization for Assault Rifles with undermounts
FMG9 Re-balancing (Nerf)
Akimbo FMG9 Re-balancing (Nerf)
Fix for Shotgun's with Extended Mags (Prevents them from shooting more pellets than intended)
burntt0ad Mhm i don't see reduced damage and fire rate for the Type 95.
thats the only problem with that gun i think. i dont use it but damn its powerful
well the patch doesn't say it reduced the power and fire rate of the type 95 it just made it harder to get have a successful hip fire with it, and its not Overpowered, its just a great gun at mid-long range because that's what 3 round burst guns are supposed to be good at, close range the type-95 is easily beaten by: Shotguns, Sub machine guns, and even machine pistols.
Oh not overpowered? Oh OK so i guess the FMG9s aren't overpowered as well right? A gun that has 55 damage and 1000 RPM per burst seems a bit much. It needs to be at least 40 damage and 700 RPM. The Type 95 is overpowered up close and starts to suck outside its 55 damage range then it becomes a 2 burst kill.
I would like to see you take 3 bullets to the chest and not die. The damage of the gun doesn't matter if all 3 bullets hit.
The Type 95 can kill with 2 bullets. The point is the maximum damage needs to be lowered.
you cant say "i wanna see you take 3 bullets to the chest" or whatever it is bc this game is 99% non realistic, you heal is 20 seconds, and with assault rifles, you take like 7 shots, snipers sometimes just a flesh wound.

MP7 (Increase recoil, less damage). Seriously what were they thinking when adding in all these OP guns. "Oh lol super high damage zero recoil AR's and SMG's OK lets put them in the game lol".
