Is Battlefield 2143 DICE's next game?

Battlefield 2143 may be the next game to be released in DICE's blockbuster first-person shooter franchise, if an Easter Egg found in the latest DLC map pack is any indication. Is Battlefield 2143 DICE's next game?Players have spotted the number '2143' on Wake Island, one of the maps released as part of the latest Back to Karkand DLC pack.

Admittedly, the hunch isn't very substantial, but DICE has a history of placing hints as to future projects in its games.

Back in 2006, hints at a new title called '2142' appeared in the Euro Forces and Armoured Fury map packs for Battlefield 2, long before Battlefield 2142 was officially announced, so there is some precedent.

We've got our fingers crossed for a Mirror's Edge sequel first.

Battlefield 3 players on PS3 have reported VoIP problems that make it difficult to talk to other players online. EA has said fixing these ongoing voice chat issues with the PS3 version is "a top priority".

. I would say goldeneye 007 for 64 made all firstperson shooters!

ok time to end this:Battlefield,Counter-Srike,Half-Life and halo were the games that built what FPS are today,COD didn't do anything to gaming and if you never played and of those games besides halo and battlefield your not a true gamer, o and BTW those games are also the ones that take skill to play.

I'm agreeing with this guy here. Those games were some of the most innovative FPS games to date. Plus all of them take more skill then CoD.

. I've been thinking about his for a while now... They need to have a COD ancient warfare! And like you use crossbows, swords, tomahawks, bows, slingshots, and other types of things like that! It would take skill and it wid be different! It's hard to kill people with a cross bow we know that from black ops! A FPS like that would be sick!!

Um No the Battlefield series released it's first game Battlefield 1942 on September 10, 2002 but it was just for PC not console and Call of Duty released it's first game Call of Duty on October 29, 2003 and If you really want to go back to original games look up Battle Zone, it was an old Arcade game by Atari back in the 80s

But Medal of Honor came out before that sooooo

If your referring to MoH coming out before Battle Zone, that you're stupid. Yes, MoH was before both Battlefield and CoD, but Battlefield came before CoD, and GoldenEye came before MoH.

Britech If I based finding Easter Eggs on future game releases...then I'm expecting Battlefield to have something with dinosaurs because there is also a dinosaur Easter Egg.....

the dinosaur is from the campaign, the marine that is killed during the scene where they film his death Soloman picks it up and asks if it is his and finds out its his sons.
