First Modern Warfare 3 DLC drops January 24 on Xbox

Speaking on the Call of Duty Elite program, "Roll Call," Infinity Ward community guru Robert Bowling revealed that the first batch of Modern Warfare 3 DLC will be available next month. Specifically, Bowling announced that the "full season of content for Modern Warfare 3 kicks off for Elite subscribers January 24th on Xbox Live." As usual, expect the DLC to remain exclusive to Xbox for some time before launching on PS3 and PC.


Bowling didn't drop details on what the first batch of content would contain, though he did hint MW3 DLC would cover a wide spectrum, including Spec Ops and "a variety of things that players have never seen before." All of this is made possible by the massive development team, featuring Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer and Raven Software.


Oh, and if you're having trouble finding this particular video on Call of Duty Elite, it might be because it's in the Elite TV section, which is reserved for premium (read: "paid") members.

everybody gets it on xbl the 24th even if its free or you have to pay!!

This is sweet i cant wait. Although I bought the COD founder card and cant redeem it so it looks like i wont be getting this for free :(

not a favored console. Microsoft has a contract that they paid for (surprising, isn't it?) that allows Xbox users to get DLC first. The contract ends in 2012 i believe.

And when it does end, I'm pretty sure Microsoft will renew this arrangement.


Yes, that is why xbox gamers pay. We also get better servers and crap too. I say it is well worth it!

Xbox definitely does have better servers...
actually...... PC would have the best servers because on the PC there can actually be dedicated servers. There are no MW3 specific dedicated servers on xbox live sorry
PC has the best servers and can have dedicated servers, xbox has the next best and ps3 at last place... Neither of which consoles have dedicated servers, no matter what the developers say...
