Analyst – GTA V will outsell the next Call of Duty

EEDAR’s Jesse Divnich has tipped Rockstar to end Call of Duty’s three year streak at the top of the annual charts.“It goes without saying that GTA V will be one of the year’s biggest releases, but I will take it one step farther and say GTA V will be 2012′s biggest release, the analyst told IndustryGamers.

Dont get me wrong, Call of Duty will undoubtedly be huge, as it is every year and it may even grow, but if I had to call what will be a photo finish race, I will go with GTA V.”

Grand Theft Auto IV has shifted over 22 million copies worldwide in the three years since its launch. That said, each of the three most recent Call of Duty releases – 2009′s Modern Warfare 2, 2010′s Black Ops, and 2011′s Modern Warfare 3 – have set entertainment launch records, outselling not just games but films, books and music.

Grand Theft Auto V was formally announced in November, although beyond the first trailer, Rockstar won’t tell us anything.

Kootah I will definitely be buying GTA V when it's released and I can honestly say it is so much better than any Call of Duty game. The graphics are better and you can tell there's a lot more time put into GTA than Call of Duty.

Can't wait for the release.


Multiplayer sure as hell ain't better.

how can you even say that? none of us know what will consist of GTA V's multiplayer ... It possible could be better and more addictive and any call of duty and even more addictive!!

Cant compare GTA Multiplayer and COD multiplayer 2 diffrent games just like COD and BF BF is suppose to be a fun war simulator COD well IDK it can be what you guys want it to be.
Bf3 is suppose to be more realistic than CoD, CoD is just a made up universe by my standards. Just clarifying.

i believe that it will by far, COD 2nd like it always is a top seller but i bet there will be a big gap this time. i have been waiting for this game for years, this will be the game that makes me quit cod for a long time haha

and the world holds its breath for your monumentally important, ney! colossal choice wether to game or not. I Myself will be waiting for the incredible gembella to make his decision that will truly change the fabric of modern society
