Black Ops 2 domain back in Activision’s grasp

Activision seems committed to a yearly Call of Duty, and with 2011's Modern Warfare 3 under its belt, it's time to start looking towards the future. While nothing has officially been revealed just yet, new information has it sounding more likely that we may see a revisit to the Call of Duty: Black Ops series in the near future, which makes sense, what with the game making over a billion dollars since it released in 2010.
Fusible reports that Activision has recently registered the domain name blackops2.com, adding fuel to the speculative fire surrounding the next Call of Duty game. Well, Activision didn't actually purchase it directly, they did so through MarkMonitor, a service used by major companies to acquire domain names. A few months back the publisher picked up blackops3, blackops4, blackops5, blackops6, through MarkMonitor, but was unable to get blackops2 for some reason. It would appear that whatever was in the way has now moved aside (likely thanks to a large check with lots of 0s), as the publisher now owns the domain and can do with it whatever it wants. We're guessing that it's going to eventually put a website on there with a countdown clock that will countdown to a tease for a release date of the first trailer, which will actually only tease a longer trailer to be debuted at a later date, but that's just our guess.
There's always the chance that it is just securing the domain names just in case, but we'd be quite surprised if Activision didn't return to the Black Ops universe in the sooner than later.

im not going to lie and say i wont get this one even tho black ops was kind of boring to me il still get this i enjoy my yearly cod

I have been playing CoD since Call of Duty: Finest Hour and I have been enjoying Cod since. I'm not Impressed with MW3 especially however. They had alot of time to improve the game immensely but as some may say it looks like MW2 v2. atm, My only Favourite CoDs are WaW. BO for Zombies and MW2 for Trickshotting etc. Cod3 cuz it had some really nice Multiplayer. In my opinion, to buy an Xbox for just COD is sad. There are many other good games to play. And for those of you mocking BF3, GOW3 etc can go Literally **** yourself. Stupid 11 year olds.

Oh god. I know for sure I won't be getting "Black Ops 2" at release. In my opinion Treyarch redifined the word 'bad' with Black Ops. I will be waiting until I hear what people think about it before I'm buying it.

First COD I won't be getting at release.

MW2 and MW3 make sense because they follow the huge COD 4 MW which was seen as an awesome game.

Building a series like MW requires a good foundation. With all the hate for Black Ops, it is in my opinion not a viable foundation for another COD series.

This is my opinion, feel free to have an oppinion which differs from mine. Just don't expect me to discuss it with you if you're gonna be an ignorant fanboy. Thanks :)

This made me laugh.
MW3 is no where NEAR perfect, it's far from it.
The spawns are horrible, the gun balance is terrible, ELITE has gone down like twice (it is useful though) and CoD gets boring all the time. And you say ELITE is better than Xbox Live? Where the hell did you get that idea? I'm not a CoD hater or a CoD fanboy, I love the series and play it all the time, but it needs some major fixes before it can be called "perfect".
I liked MW2 more than MW3 and CoD 4 was BY FAR the best CoD until all the hackers came along. Black Ops was good and I had no real hate/love for it. WaW was good until the hackers came along, not better than CoD 4 though.
