The Electronic Arts shooter, which is usually priced at $19.99/£17.99, can be claimed from Prime Gaming from June 1 until June 20. Prime members can claim one game code redeemable on Origin for the Battlefield 4 Standard edition.
The deal is one of a number of Battlefield promotions EA is running in the leadup to its planned Battlefield 6 reveal on June 9.
Battlefield V was available at no addition cost to PlayStation Plus members during May and Xbox is currently running a Battlefield sale until June 8, with multiple series entries discounted by as much as 85%, while Battlefield 4’s China Rising add-on is free.
The next instalment in developer DICE‘s first-person shooter series will be shown publicly for the first time at 7am PDT / 4pm CEST, the publisher announced on Tuesday.
EA previously confirmed that Battlefield 6’s reveal trailer would be released in June, and that the game will be a cross-gen title when it hits consoles and PC this holiday season.
A senior EA communications director also sympathised with fans frustrated by the extended wait for Battlefield 6’s reveal, but pleaded for a bit more patience.
A low-quality version of what is claimed to be a Battlefield 6 trailer intended for internal use seemingly leaked in full last week.
